Top 3 favorite post-workout smoothies

There are few greater feelings than finishing a tough workout. And like a true dedicated athlete my mind was generally on one thing and one thing only…..FOOD! Now, the menu has changed over the years but the desire to eat is still quite the same.  To put it mildly, I am ravenous after a swim workout.  So, here are some fun and easy smoothie recipes to help you calm the beast before it gets out of hand.



Packs a Punch

Almond milk, honey, peanut butter, banana, dates and a bit of ice.

Throw a healthy blend of this in a blender and be ready to wisked away to happy tummy land! Every ingredient serves a purpose. All are good for you and great for post workout.


Tropical Treasure

Grab as many frozen organic fruits from the store as your palate can handle.

I love mangoes, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and a banana (this one has to come from your kitchen), almond milk, ice and yogurt (you can get personal here too…add in some almonds for a little crunch or any other bit that makes you and your tummy happy)
